Commission Information

Commissions are currently CLOSED

By sending a Commission request, you are consenting to our Terms of Service listed at the bottom of the page!  Please give them a read!

The prices below will be the new prices whenever we do end up Re-opening commissions.

Prices

Below are the prices for our commissions.  Each price is broken down into types of commission and anything with a “+” before the price is added to the final prices of the commission you choose to do.  Additional characters are priced on a per character basis. All prices are in USD.

Backgrounds:  A background for a picture starts at $50.  The price increases depending on complexity.  Simple Gradients are free.  Here are some examples to give an idea of how we might price certain backgrounds.  This is just to give an idea of what to expect, however the exact price will be discussed between us.  Background prices can run higher than the examples below depending on the complexity requested.

Very simple furniture and background without very many details and with no complex lighting elements. It could also be a patterned or abstract background. Not as simple as a gradient, but we agonize over it just as much. This background would be a flat $50.

Comm: School Girl

So this background sample is a middle of the road. Not super simple but not super complex. The hallway is fairly simple. But the windows more fancy. The outside can be seen through the windows but just enough to give a hint. Warm lighting but not super complex. It is worth noting that while the statue is part of the background, it would have been charged as a separate character. The approximate price for this background would be around a $100. In addition to the two characters and statue.

This is an example of a complex background.  it has many elements to it and multiple light sources.  The time spent on this background was extensive in order to capture so many details and make the scene feel alive.  A background along these lines would come in at $120 to $160

Comm - Cozy Christmas

Extra! Extra!

These are the things in a picture that are not really a character or a background element.  They do however take a significant amount of time to draw and therefore, add to the price.

Vehicles:  (Nova Only)  This includes tanks, cars, mecha, planes, etc.  These are typically very complex objects, more so than a character.  Half vehicle: $100, Full Vehicle: $200

Colored Line Art:  $20 per character.

Tentacles:  Just the tentacles, not the full creature. First 5 are $25. Each additional tentacle is $5.

Tentacle Monsters:  You want that whole beautiful creature on the screen!?  This is $75-100 (5 tentacles included!!)  Want to make the artist crazy by adding more tentacles?  Add $5 per tentacle!  They’re more time consuming than they seem.

Excessive Fluids:  And all that Jizz…. Takes FOREVER to draw!  Seriously… Add $10-15  We mean an inhuman amount.  Like… Bukakke levels…

Anonymous Partner:  This is usually 1/2 body or legs. Price varies with complexity $15-$40 each.

Props and the Like:  These are meant for complex objects that go with a character.  For example, a drum kit, extra or excessive weaponry, extremely elaborate outfit etc.  This will be determined by the artist.  $10-40.

Extra Versions:  This means you want multiple versions of the same character.  I.E. Nude, lingerie, fully clothed, multiple expressions, etc.  Each extra version will be $10 to $50 per character. Expressions would be on the cheaper end, different costumes on the higher end. All depending on complexity.

Commission Terms of Service

What can I expect in a piece of art?

Start by taking a walk through our gallery. Look at our art. I mean really look at it. Does Nova’s style appeal to you more or Alanna’s? While our styles are very similar we have our differences. We have our strengths and weaknesses. Would your idea benefit from both of us working on your piece? What you see in our galleries is what you can expect to receive. There is a flair of anime in our art. If you’re interested in something realistic, western comic style, insert style here; that’s cool. However we won’t be able to help you fulfill that desire. You would do better to search for an artist that can. By commissioning either one of us you are requesting our style of art. By sending a commission request you have read FULLY, understand, and accept our terms of service. We are happy to answer questions. If you require further clarification feel free to email us. We reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason. We reserve the right to revise our Terms of Service as is needed. We reserve the right to revise commission prices as needed. We will never change the price of a commission in the middle of a commission. Once we agree on a price, that price is final. Redraw fees are their own thing.

How do commissions work?

Start by looking at our commission pricing. Look at what we will and won’t do. It does vary by artist. Decide what you want. Remember that you can always upgrade a picture. Sketch to ink. Ink to color. Add in a background. Decide which artist you’d like to work with Nova or Alanna. Or both! Contact the artist you’re interested in commissioning. Send us all pertinent information needed for your commission. We’ll get back to you with a yes or no of accepting your commission idea. At that point we’ll discuss the finer details such as price and any further clarifications we require. You’ll confirm that you want to do the commission and you are okay with the quoted price. You will send payment. Payment is required up front. Work will begin when we have received payment.

The artist will sketch your picture. You’ll be given the sketch to approve. Reasonable fixes will be done here. Major fixes may result in a redraw fee. More information to follow on redraw fees. Sketch commissions are an exception. Sketch commissions are final with no approval. After you give the artist the go ahead we’ll continue. Ink, then color as is applicable to what was paid for. We will send you the finished piece. Small corrections can be done if something was forgotten or a color needs to be adjusted. Extensive problems will have to be assessed if they can be done. You being clear in what you want in the commission well help us avoid problems.

What information do you need to do a commission?

Well really what do you want? How many characters? What characters? Type of commission? Background? No background? Where are they? What is important to the character to represent? Special items? Tattoos? Weapons? Outfit? Pose? If you’re looking for something specific you need to articulate that to us. We unfortunately are not psychic. We’re trying, but until then you have to be specific. If you’re vague and you don’t get what you want that’s on you. Example time.

Vague: Cute girl waving.

Specific: A picture of Winry from Full Metal Alchemist waving, full body. On the corner of a street with a store in the background. She’s wearing a cute purple sundress.

So do you want something specific? Or do you want to see what madness we can come up with?

What if you don’t accept my commission?

No hard feelings. Chances are you’ve asked us for something we won’t do. Or can’t do. Some things we just simply don’t have the skill set for. Can I resubmit my request? Depends. If it’s in the spirit of changing it to something we will do/can do. Then yes. Go for it. If it’s the same request, trust us the answer isn’t going to change on the second time around. Or third, or fourth.

What’s a redraw fee?

If we forgot an important part of the character that you were specific about. That’s our fault. We will of course move to fix that free of charge. Small adjustments are usually no big deal. But if say you don’t like the pose we did, because YOU weren’t specific and YOU didn’t give us a reference. That’s on you. Can we redo said pose? Sure, but that’s no minor change. Anything that requires changing half the picture or more is going to earn you a redraw fee up to the maximum of a full new sketch.

Can I cancel my commission or get a refund?

If you haven’t paid us yet and change your mind, just send us note and we’ll move on. Please, PLEASE, don’t send payment unless you’re absolutely sure you want the commission. (Also please don’t send payment if we haven’t accepted your commission.) What if I want to cancel in the middle of the commission. You MIGHT be eligible for a partial refund depending on what stage of the process we’re at. You did a full color commission and we’re only at the sketch stage. Inks and colors have not been done yet. We will take the price of the sketch out of your refund and refund the difference. We have done the work. You will not get that part back. You will NOT get refunds for sketch commissions, once coloring has begun, or for finished commissions. I repeat, you will NOT get refunds for sketch commissions, once coloring has begun, or for finished commissions.

What if you’re unable to complete my commission?

It’s never happened. But life can happen at any time, often in shitty ways when you don’t want it to. Knocks on wood. Should that ever happen we’ll be in touch and we’ll try to work with you come to a reasonable resolution. Depending on the situation, it could potentially be a full refund. But that would be in the event that we just couldn’t get it done.

So how can I pay you?

Currently we accept Paypal payments only. Payments are made in full up front before work begins. Do not send us payment if we have NOT accepted your commission. Work will not start until full payment has been received. If you are waiting in line for a commission you do not have to send payment until we are ready to work on your commission. We will do our best to keep you posted on all developments and let you know when we’re getting close to your turn.

How long will my commission take?

As long as we need to make it good. Rough turn around depending on the complexity of the picture a couple of weeks to a month from when we START your commission. You may not be our only commissioner. Commissions will be done in the order they are accepted. So your wait time may be longer. We will do our best to keep you posted on all developments and let you know when we’re getting close to your turn. Nova is likely to get them done faster, purely because he has more time than Alanna does. Boo other jobs.

If you require the picture by a specific date please let us know when you send the initial commission request. That way we can make sure it’s possible to complete on time.

What else should I know?

We currently work full time jobs, have families, and need sleep. Please respect this. We unfortunately do not have limitless time and aren’t hovering by our computers constantly. We will always try to respond as speedily as possible. We’re pretty good a checking our correspondence pretty regularly. Usually at least once a day barring extenuating circumstances.

Did you know you can upgrade a picture?

What’s that mean? Time is money and art is a luxury. The more you want the more it will cost. Damn that payment upfront thing. We know. Unfortunately some jerk out there ruined that one for you. But you really want some art done by us. Well start with a sketch. Want to upgrade it to an inked picture, pay the difference and we’ll ink it. Ink to color. Want to add in a background?

Wait how do two of you do one commission?

Well in a number of ways. Alanna might draw one character and Nova the other once. One might do the line work and the other one colors it. But man I really want Alanna to do this character with their car, but Alanna doesn’t do vehicles! Damn. Alanna doesn’t do vehicles but Nova does. Wait but if you both work on it will it cost me extra? No. It’ll be priced out by character, type, background, extras.

How do I know what you will or won’t do?

Scroll back up and look for the blue Nova box and Green Alanna Box.

Do the two of you charge differently?

No. Prices are applicable to either artist.

Do you do stream commissions?

We can.

Can you stream my commission?

Yes.

Can I see progress on my commission?

Certainly. Just ask, we’ll send an update when we’re able. It will be a low-res JPG that you get to mark the progress. You’ll only get the full large resolution picture when we’re done.

Do you do traditional art commissions?

Not at the moment. Perhaps in the future. But we don’t have a good set up for it at the moment. Prices would also be different. Supplies are expensive. T_T

Are we done yet?

Almost. One final thing. Licenses. WE RETAIN ALL RIGHTS TO OUR ARTWORK. This means we can print, sell, post, and distribute the artwork in any way we choose. We will never claim ownership over character(s), only the artwork they appear in. By commissioning us you agree that image(s) ARE FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. You may not sell or distribute our artwork. You will not augment or adjust any of our artwork. You will not claim the artwork as your own. You may post your commission on your own social media sites WITH proper credit to us. It is preferred that you link to the original post or that you simply retweet, reblog etc. from the original source if possible.

For commercial interest you must specify up front in your initial commission request. We will discuss our commercial fees and contract for using our art.

For all erotic artwork you certify that you are 18 years of age or older as is required in the United States of America.
