Volume 4 and Patreon
Volume 4 and Patreon
News, news, and more news!
By Alanna Harpsong
So the first page of volume 4 of The Cat House goes up today. We will as usual be posting a page every Friday until we run out of pages. Which will be like September, because it’s 30 pages long.
Aside from the delightful length, you get a new delightful character. Delightful… sure. Sara is being introduced into the house this volume. New maid. More cat girls and naughty fun.
Of course we have to give a special thanks to a very special fan. Grip, who has generously sponsored this volume of The Cat House. Which has afforded him the chance to work side by side with us on this one. To suggest scenarios and ideas. Even down to tiny details like tails and ears. While getting to watch us go through the process from script, to script edits, sketching, inking and colors. It’s been a pleasure to work with you and we’ve been so appreciative of your ideas and suggestions. It has really made this a fun volume.
Which brings me to Patreon. If you don’t know what Patreon is, it’s a site that allows you donate and help support the studio. The chance for more art, comics and information on the status of the visual novel we’ve been working on. We go by a monthly subscription here and have currently 3 tiers you can donate at. $1, $5, or $10.
Why should you consider this?
Because there are a variety of things you can gain, that you wouldn’t normally. There are Patreon pin-up exclusives. The one for February is Sara, to go with the launch of Patreon as well as the new volume. For March though, Patreons get to cast their votes as to which pin-up gets drawn. For this month Alanna has picked 3 of the ladies from Chrono Trigger. This is a rare chance to see some fan art out of us. Certain tiers will get a copy of the hi-res .jpg. We will also be posting our art and comics there first before we release it to the general public.
Some Patreons will get the chance to see into the deep fathoms of the studio. Could be just the set up itself. The Cat Heater and whatever silliness we might be getting up to. As well as news and updates about the game. Getting to see our works in progress on it. As a matter of fact, just head on over there and see how each tier is broken down.
