Hard to believe it’s already a week into December. Yet here we are. Of course as the year comes to a close we look towards what we can do in the next year. For us, one of our hopes is to get the gears really turning again on the dating sim we’ve been at for a few years now. There have been a number of factors that have slowed that down, and halted production all together.

Our third member Kaho, if you’ve been around that long, well life exploded horribly and she had to step away to take care of herself. Then the fucking pandemic happened. To her. (She’s still kicking around, don’t worry ^_~ ) The pandemic happened  to us. There have been some difficult moments with family in the last couple of years for both Nova and I. Well that’s putting it mildly, but we’ve both come out stronger for it.

Commissions. They’ve been wonderful, and we appreciate everyone that has ever commissioned either one of us. Especially those that could and did during the pandemic when times were uncertain for us. However, there have been so many and one big one in particular, that also put a big dent in our time to work on the game.  It’s always been important to the both of us to try and get our commissioners taken care of first, so that makes some things take a back seat in favor of that. Our choice and we wouldn’t do it any other way.

However, Nova and I have both definitely gotten a degree of burnout from it. Nova more so than I. In deciding what we really want to achieve, we really want to do this game. Which means for now, commissions for the both of us are closed. It will be some time before either of us open them again. When we do, we’ll be sure to let you know. They will also be in smaller batches and limited runs so that we can keep from falling into the pit we’ve found ourselves in currently. We do enjoy doing them, but we also really love doing what we do and that’s telling our stories and creating new adventures.
